  1. In the article, the author states that teens may have "safe" sex without parental consent, but notify parents that their children are receiving "birth control". The author also stated a quote that "We know that kids wouldn't stop having sex," said lead study author Rachel Jones, senior research associate at the institute. "Instead, we would have more kids having unprotected sex." The author also includes percentages and real experiences by teens on whether their parents know or not. But debates are still in progress.

  2. The claim of this article is that parents should be notified when their children go to clinics and ask for birth control.

But in some cases it also says that even if the parent knows that the child is pregnant, they would not allow that child to get birth control or an abortion. What if the child doesn't want the baby??

The evidence I have to support my claim is,"Still 70% of teens whose parents did not know they were at the clinic said that would not seek prescription birth control if parental consent were required.

The reasoning for the evidence is that it says that even if the parent knew the child was pregnant. they would not give them any type of birth control.

  4. Claim: Teenagers will have unprotected sex, because of this law
Evidence: Now, a new study suggests that such laws would result in more teens having unprotected sex.
Reasoning: Most kids wont go to their parents and would do with out protection
